Pureffi is a premium supplement brand operated by 9044574 Canada Ltd., headquartered in Ontario, Canada. Although incorporated in Canada, we operate primarily in the United States and serve U.S.-based customers through our website hosted on Shopify. This Privacy Policy also serves as our “Notice at Collection” under California law.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information (examples are illustrative):

  • Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, account credentials.

  • Commercial information: products viewed and purchased, order history, transaction records.

  • Internet or network activity: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time on page, referring/exit pages, session replay/heatmaps, clickstream.

  • Geolocation data: coarse location derived from IP address (not precise geolocation).

  • Inferences and preferences: product interests, marketing preferences, engagement history.

  • Communications: messages sent to support or via forms.

  • Bonus/referral program context: If you choose a complimentary consultation with an independent trainer or nutritionist, you are redirected to their site. They collect information under their own policies. We do not share your personal information directly with them.

Sensitive personal information: We do not intentionally collect or use sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation, government IDs, health records) for purposes beyond those permitted by law.

Children: Our products and services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13.

3. Sources of Personal Information

  • Directly from you (checkout, account creation, forms, emails, SMS sign-ups).

  • Automatically from your device (cookies, pixels, SDKs, analytics).

  • From service providers and partners that support our store, payments, fulfillment, analytics, and marketing.

4. How We Use Personal Information

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers/processors that help run our business (e.g., ecommerce platform, payment processors, fulfillment and logistics partners, email/SMS providers, analytics, session replay/heatmaps, customer support).

  • Advertising/analytics partners that help measure performance and deliver ads (e.g., platforms providing audience matching or cross-context behavioral advertising).

  • Authorities or others where required by law or to protect rights and safety. We require service providers to use personal information only to perform services for us and not for their own purposes.

6. Selling or Sharing Personal Information (Ads/Targeting)

We do not “sell” your personal information for money. However, we may “share” personal information (as defined under California law) with advertising and analytics partners to deliver cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out:

  • Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer (or email support@pureffi.com with the subject “Privacy Choices”).

  • We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep your session active, analyze Site usage, and personalize content and ads. You can manage cookies via your browser settings. Where legally required, we present a cookie banner with choices. If you block or delete cookies, some features may not function. 

Do Not Track/GPC: While we do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.

8. Your Privacy Rights (U.S.)

Depending on your state, you may have the right to:

  • Know/Access the personal information we maintain about you.

  • Correct inaccurate personal information.

  • Delete personal information.

  • Opt out of selling/sharing and targeted advertising.

  • Opt out of certain profiling.

  • Receive a portable copy of your data.

  • Appeal our decision if we deny your request (CO/CT/VA).

How to submit a request:
Email support@pureffi.com with your name, the right you’re exercising, and the email address used on the Site. We will verify your identity (e.g., by confirming access to your email or asking order-related questions). You may authorize an agent to act on your behalf where allowed by law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with “Appeal” in the subject line. If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

California-specific: You also have the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond exempt purposes. We also provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” option and honor GPC. 

Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy rights, including by denying goods or services, charging different prices or rates, or providing a different level or quality of goods or services, except as permitted for bona fide loyalty, discounts, or financial incentive programs you choose to join.

Timing: We aim to respond to verified requests within 45 days and may extend once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary. For states that provide an appeal right, we will respond to appeals within 45 days (or the applicable state timeline).

9. California Notice at Collection (Summary)

We collect the categories listed in Section 2 for the business purposes listed in Section 4, and we disclose them as described in Section 5. We do not collect precise geolocation or use sensitive personal information beyond exempt purposes. We share identifiers, internet activity, and inferences with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services and for legitimate business needs (see Section 11).

10. Financial Incentives (Discounts/Perks)

If you sign up for our marketing list, we may offer discounts, perks, or early-access benefits. Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing support@pureffi.com. We estimate the value of your personal information (e.g., email address, engagement data) based on our good-faith calculation of the revenue generated by marketing, the cost of discounts/perks provided, and program expenses, which may be up to $20 per year. The material terms of any incentive will be presented at sign-up.

11. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, including compliance and accounting. Typical periods include:

  • Order and transaction records: up to 7 years.

  • Marketing and analytics data: up to 24 months, unless you opt out earlier.

  • Support communications: up to 3 years after closure.

Actual retention may vary based on legal obligations, disputes, and security requirements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify the data.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including SSL/TLS encryption, role-based access controls, and PCI DSS-compliant payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

13. International Data Transfers

We operate primarily in the United States and may process personal information in the U.S. and Canada. By using the Site and providing information, you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in these countries.

14. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may link to third-party services (e.g., trainer or nutritionist booking sites). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies.

15. SMS & Email Marketing

With your consent, we may send you marketing emails or SMS. You can unsubscribe at any time using the “unsubscribe” link in emails or replying STOP to SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Frequency varies. Reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
